補充：
由於有機青蘋果實在是挺不好買的，
所以在這一批有機青蘋果使用完畢後，
我們皆以其他有機蘋果為主(紅色)，
依各季節以紐西蘭有機蘋果或有機富士蘋果替換使用。
【有機史密斯老奶奶青蘋果】－從最基本開始把關！
蘋果可說是我們家多款果醬的基底，
主要是因為蘋果果膠豐富，
在手工果醬上使用蘋果果膠也是非常常見的！
我們也尋找過台灣在地的蘋果，
但因為需要全年使用，我想選用的農場是沒有辦法的，
加上產量沒有那麼多，價格自然也相對更貴，
所以最後選定了這款進口的有機史密斯老奶奶青蘋果！
又尤其最近看到報導(註1)指出，美國進口蘋果農藥殘留最多，
(不合格的會擋在海關不會流進巿場)
雖然成本比較高，但我們還是很堅定要使用它！
為的也就是希望能提供給大家更棒更有品質，
也更能安心吃的手工果醬！
蘋果上的標籤為9開頭即為有機種植的水果，
巿面上多為3或4開頭，要注意仔細清洗，

4字或3字頭開始的，都是"傳統種植法"，就是每週會打農藥驅蟲和滅除野草.
比如: #4139 - 就是"傳統的史密斯奶奶蘋果"的意思. - Conventional Granny Smith Apple.
9字頭5位數的，表示是有機種植 -
比如: #94139 - Organic Granny Smith 有機史密斯奶奶蘋果 (請看我們圖片中的編號)
8字頭5位數表示基因改造

也不是非得盲目追求有機無農藥，
全天下的農人都是一樣很辛苦的！
只是在成本可以負荷之下，
也不會讓果醬價格貴的太離譜，

99％美蘋果 農藥殘留都不合格
美國
【陳家齊、張博亭╱綜合報導】美國環保團體統計發現，美國市面上農藥殘留問題最嚴重的蔬果是蘋果、草莓、葡萄，而最「乾淨」的則是酪梨、甜玉米與鳳梨。我衛生福利部表示，農藥殘留不合格的進口蘋果會被擋在海關，不會流進國內市場。
不合格不會進口
美國環境工作團（EWG）針對48種美國市面常見蔬果，根據美國食品暨藥物管理局（FDA）檢驗的約3.2萬份樣本，排出農藥殘留問題最嚴重的蔬果（完整名單見goo.gl/h1GeJk）。蘋果連續4年名列農藥殘留最嚴重的蔬果，99％樣本都有農藥殘留。
我衛福部食品藥物管理署流通稽查檢驗科科長蘇秀琴表示，國內的蘋果大多是進口，在海關若抽驗出農藥殘留不合格就會直接退運；本土生產蘋果較少出現殘留農藥問題。
蘇秀琴說，以去年為例，農藥殘留不合格率最多的是豆菜類，如四季豆、豌豆等。
